Gardens and other museums are repositories of knowledge. We know things. We must share information to inform and educate the public about key issues, current research, horticultural best practices, and more. Why? How? Whom are we serving? This session offers insight as to how interpretive writing and personal interaction within a landscape or exhibition can draw visitors into your garden, making them want more information, rather than push them away with jargon. Hear three different perspectives (horticulture, interpretation, interactive exhibitions) regarding how we can effectively engage visitors in content that fosters both awareness and self-exploration.
