College & University gardens have the capacity to have a large impact on the world given their access to a vast brain trust (and other resources) at their universities. These gardens must learn to make connections within their parent organizations to help the garden to grow in the campus community, whether that organization is a college, university, or other large, complex organization like municipality, government, or large non-profit. Emphasis will be placed on creating partnerships, utilizing shared resources, and looking beyond the roadblocks to see the unique opportunities that being a part of a larger organization allows your garden.
